1 child in 5 still grows up in poverty or risks falling into poverty. That is more than 500 000 children in Belgium. A hallucinatory figure that the Pelicano Foundation wants to reduce as quickly as possible.

Every day Pelicano fights against child poverty in our country to make sure every child living in our country is entitled to the same opportunities: sufficient food, healthy living conditions, decent education and meaningful leisure time. Saving children from poverty is first and foremost of great importance to the individual, but also our society benefits from it.

Kom op tegen Kanker is a non-governmental organisation that advocates for the right of (former) patients to receive the best treatment and care, as well as the right of people to live in a healthy environment.

We achieve this by setting up or financially supporting care projects, providing support for scientific research, influencing policies, and offering information and prevention initiatives. The funds for these activities are raised through donations, campaigns, and legacies.

WWF is the international organisation that provides solutions to protect and restore nature worldwide. They are active in the field and offer advice on political decisions, supported by a strong community of people striving for a better planet.

The majority of the donations are directly invested in their conservation programs. They make every effort to minimize other costs as much as possible.
